Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-14
Preamble
These Terms of Service (these "Terms") define the conditions for using the website and related online services (the "Service") operated by RoWorx Studio (the "Operator"). The Service provides information about RoWorx Studio, introductions to Discord bots published by the Operator, support documentation, and legal notices. Use of individual Discord bots is governed by separate terms of service for each bot.
Article 1 — Application and agreement
1. These Terms apply to all users who access or use the Service ("Users"). 2. Users are deemed to have agreed to all provisions of these Terms when they access or use the Service. 3. If a User is a minor, the User must use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Article 2 — Scope of the Service
1. The Service provides content for reference purposes, including bot introductions, support guides, and legal documents. 2. Information on the Service may be changed, added, or removed without prior notice. 3. Links from the Service to external sites or services (such as Discord or X) are provided for convenience. The Operator is not responsible for the content or policies of external sites.
Article 3 — Relationship with bot-specific terms
1. Discord bots introduced on the Service may have separate terms of service and privacy policies. 2. When a User uses a Discord bot, the terms and policies applicable to that bot take precedence for matters relating to that bot. 3. Paid plans, billing, refunds, and bot functionality are governed by the relevant bot terms, not solely by these Terms.
Article 4 — Intellectual property
1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the content of the Service (text, design, logos, images, etc.) belong to the Operator or rightful owners. 2. Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use Service content beyond personal, non-commercial viewing without prior permission from the Operator, except as permitted by law.
Article 5 — Prohibited conduct
Users must not engage in the following when using the Service: 1. Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals. 2. Acts that infringe on the rights of the Operator or third parties (including intellectual property, privacy, and reputation). 3. Unauthorized access, excessive load, scraping, or other acts that interfere with the operation of the Service or its systems. 4. Reverse engineering, decompilation, or analysis of the Service beyond what is permitted by law. 5. Impersonation of the Operator or dissemination of false information. 6. Any other conduct the Operator deems inappropriate.
Article 6 — Disclaimer
1. The Service is provided as-is. The Operator makes no warranties regarding completeness, accuracy, timeliness, or fitness for a particular purpose. 2. The Operator is not liable for damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service, except where required by applicable law. 3. Support information on the Service is provided for reference. The Operator does not guarantee that it resolves all user issues.
Article 7 — Changes and suspension of the Service
1. The Operator may change the content, design, or functions of the Service without prior notice to Users. 2. The Operator may suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service without prior notice when necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or operational reasons. 3. The Operator is not liable for any disadvantage to Users resulting from changes or suspension under this Article, except where required by law.
Article 8 — Changes to these Terms
1. The Operator may revise these Terms when necessary. 2. Revised Terms take effect when posted on the Service with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Article 9 — Governing law and jurisdiction
1. The interpretation and application of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. 2. Any dispute arising between a User and the Operator regarding the Service or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location as the court of first instance, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
